The foundation participated in this course as a speaker at the roundtable discussion on “Companies and human rights: current issues and trends”.
This course, which was organised by the Corporate Social Responsibility Chair of the Universidad de Alcalá together with the Universidad Complutense and Banco Santander’s Network of CSR Chairs, brought together important figures and representatives of government ministries, embassies, companies and NGOs, in order to study possible actions to foster respect and protection of human rights as an essential instrument for achieving socially responsible competitiveness in global business activity. In this regard, the participants analysed the implications of the UN principles on social and economic policies in our country and on the social responsibility commitments of companies.
