On 18 February 2013, the Foundation Wolters Kluwer and the Foundation Fernando Pombo launched the book: The presumption of innocence and trials bye media, a work that examines the confrontation and the boundaries between the fundamental right to the presumption of innocence and the fundamental rights to freedom of information and freedom of expression, in conjunction with the parallel trials of the media.
The speakers of the event were the following ones: Alberto Ruiz Gallardon, Minister of Justice; Eduardo Torres-Dulce, State Public Prosecutor; Rosalina Diaz, the President of the Foundation Wolters Kluwer; Carmen del Riego, President of Madrid Press Association; and Joaquín García-Romanillos, President of the Foundation Fernando Pombo.
The project, coordinated by the Constitutional law specialist Ana Maria Ovejero, compiles the presentations made at the event: The presumption of innocence and trials by media held on June 2012 at the International University Menéndez Pelayo.
