Series of lectures: The primary legal responsibilities of non-profit organizations

Date: 8, 15, 22 and 29 May 2013 in Barcelona; and 9, 16, 23 and 30 in Madrid

Following the success of the previous editions in 2011 and 2012 in Madrid, Fernando Pombo Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre for Social Responsibility of Lawyers (CRSA) of the Bar Associations of Madrid and Barcelona, will hold a series of lectures in both cities, in order to advise nonprofit organizations on its main legal responsibilities.

The conference will serve to analyze the specific legal issues to which all third sector associations are subject. The sessions aim to become practical workshops that will give useful guidelines for the daily work of the organizations, facilitating and supporting the fulfillment of their legal obligations and influencing in order to avoid potential risks that might occur at the failure of these.

The conference will treat the following legal aspects:

–      Tax obligations
–      Labor issues and voluntary work
–      Data protection, and
–      Intellectual property; trademarks and web pages.

These sessions are free of cost and aimed at managers of the third sector organizations/associations and to all professionals that have legal responsibilities in this type of entities.
