Pro Bono culture <\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
Pro Bono is free legal advice for underprivileged groups that may not be attended by public defenders. We are the first pro bono coordination centre (clearinghouse) in Spain, and since its creation, we have optimised our work method and innovation capacity to make a greater impact in all that we do.<\/h5>\n
Our leadership and prestige in the pro bono practice and outside of the country has led us to take up executive positions on the Pro Bono Committee of the International Bar Association and the Global Forum of Pro Bono PILnet since 2014. Additionally, we have teamed up with the General Council of Spanish Law to promote pro bono practice in its 2015-2020 strategic plan.<\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

PROMOTION OF PRO BONO CULTURE IN SPAIN <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n
In 2013, Professor John Ruggie attended the IBA conference where he lectured international legal practitioners on their role in ensuring that businesses comply with human rights.
